St Richard's 1920's Ball at Malvern College

As a result of the Business Breakfast event, we were invited to the St Richard's 1920s Ball to feature our Photobooth and do some roaming photography.

What a great event.

Malvern College is located on the side of the Malvern Hills. We were blessed with a fine evening. The setup was fabulous and the College had generously supplied the marquee and interiors for the event on the back of their Leavers Ball the night before. The staff were working throughout the day to clear up after the teenagers (!) so it was impressive that by the time we came to set up in the afternoon it looked amazing.  There was plenty of space for everyone including a Casino and our Photobooth in the marquee.

The Black and White theme was striking.

Our Pinhole Pod was centred in the marquee and with its colour-changing LED lights it looked great. We had sourced some additional props for the event to fit the 1920s theme although some of the guests really didn't need any props at all!

As well as our Photobooth with props, we did some roving photography and produced a short video of a selection of the photos. The ragtime, 1920s theme seemed appropriate.

Charity Events Summer 2016

Pinhole Images have certainly been busy over the summer months.

Charity Events were always something that we were going to be keen to be involved with. Having had some experience of the Hospice provision both at Marie Curie in Solihull when I took round tea and cakes 40 years ago as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award to more recent experience of an excellent hospice near Bristol for my Father-in-law, we were always keen to work with a local hospice  in Worcester.

St Richard's Hospice has no public funding. Raising over £8m a year for the operation of the hospice per annum is no small task.

We were delighted when we made contact through Twitter to find ourselves setting up our Pinhole Portable for the St Richard's Hospice Business Breakfast.  It only takes 15 minutes to set up the screen and printer with all the great software which  enables us to scan Twitter or Instagram for tweets. The tweets get downloaded and printed. It always seems to surprise people the first time they see it, having only just taken a photo. There it is. In colour. Coming out of our printer. Shazam!

We took roving photographs of the event. It was a thank you to the Corporate Sponsors and volunteers from various organisations who help to ensure that St Richard's provides the excellent and essential service that it does.
